My grandaughter wants to know, and she loves grapefruit!!

Nope. Grapefruit interferes with cholesterol meds and a surprising variety of other drugs, but the pill is not one of them. She may eat her grapefruit with confidence.

The info you get with your pills says right on it that grapefruit juice has an adverse reaction on the pills. I am sure this goes for the fruit as well.

No...grapefruit is essentially potassium and this will not interfere with her OCPs. It is best not to take antacids before taking them, as they coat the stomach and make the pill hard to assimilate into the blood stream.

no most definitely the only tablet that grapefruit interferes with is neoral and i know that for a fact for i am on neroal

no no no no no, nothing that you eat will interfear with the effectivness of the pill. ONLY smoking and not taking your pill in a timly sence will change how the pill works. good luck

yes, it's not recomendable. it's not that it will do her wrong but this fruit has some enzimes that make pill not to be effective (so why taking it at all,we wonder?).

first of all birth control is wrong ur taking an innocent persons life because she wanted to have sex with someone without protection.
