Human evolution creates kinder, gentler people (meeker). As we evolve, our consciences evolve. I personally think that the United States is in for a shock—an economic, humbling shock—if the majority of citizens (who don't support mass murder for cash) don't speak up, clamor to their senators at www.senate.gov and representatives at www.house.gov.

Impeach VP first, then P now while there is still time to let the world know we're not all mass murderers.

The meek will inherit the earth. America, like all past great civilizations, is on the skid. We, as a nation, have left our morals somewhere and lost them. There are too many drugs, cheats (IMRON) hookers (Monica) corrupt people, drunks and whatever. We need to get back to family values. WE WILL BE THE MEEK SOON. Our factories have left us for Central America, Mexico, India, just to name a few. Corporations can never earn enough money. The homeless are ignored. People can't even get health care. It sure isn't like it used to be.

But if you are seriously asking what the Bible meant when it said this. The wicked will be destroyed, and that includes the American government. The land will still be there, but it won't be "America" in its current sense. I don't know if we will still call the land America for geogaphical purposes, but it won't be called that for political purposes. This government, along with all earthly governments will be wiped off the face of the earth in favor of God's Kingdom. God's Kingdom will replace them all and will be around forever, so there is no need for America in the political sense anymore (or any other country for that matter).

I picture Bush launching F-22 Raptors at God's angels. I picture the neo-cons loading their shot guns and 45s to do battle with God. I picture Bush sending nuke codes to the subs. I picture angel's swords cutting through the F-22s like swish cheese and the F-22s missiles shooting strait through the angels causing no harm.

When it happens, all of the tough talk and mighty armies on the earth won't mean a thing. Billionaires won't be able to bribe angels. Then there will be a new heavens AND a new earth for mankind to dwell in without growing ill, growing old, or dying anymore. God is something else...
