It depends Buenos Dominican. You see, if you are running a marathon and you start badly, you can recover. But if you are on American Idol and you start badly, Siom says that you sing like a frog and the dream is over. If you are going to school for a 4 year degree and you start badly, you can still recover, but if you are in an interview like The Apprentice and you start badly, then you get fired. So, it depends man.

It really depends on the situation I think...

Generally, I think it's very important to finish what you started....

People have different ways of going from start to finish... Some are slow starters, and take their time, gruadually building up to something great at the end...

Others, have fireworks to begin with, but tend to wither away at the end and struggle to finish...

Either way, so long as the job gets done, and done well...

Yes it is true especially in those cases where the beginning is shaky or not conducive to a positive outcome.
I am happy every time I hear a true story about someone overcoming great odds and becoming a positive force to him or herself and to others.

Yes. It is true because it is where you will end up in life that matters. Some people had a hard life, but those people are now sucessful. I think that's what the sentence means.

Neither.

I've learned that IF you start is far more important than HOW you start or how you FINISH.

Inability to pull the trigger and pursue opportunities does more harm than starting "incorrectly".

It's not so much either one of those. It's what you learn along the way and how you apply it to your life that really counts. We even learn great things from failure.

Everything counts, but the beginning and end are what's important, and the end is more important than the beginning..
