Personally, I love Final Fantasy VII[Seven].I know,it's no suprise, but what can you say?It was the first Playstation game with advanced graphics when it hit the market. The graphics in FF7 and it's gameplay opened new ideas to game designers everywhere. The characters where amazing and the story was heart-felt and intense.Sephiroth has been rated one of the top RPG villians in game history, Top #1 hottest Video game Bosses[G4 magazine,''Electronic Game monthly'',G4's ''Filter'',etc] and has been idolized by many fans!.You either love or hate Sephiroth. As for myself,I adore him!

Final Fantasy 7, because of the gameplay, the graphics, the sound, and its interactivity.

Gameplay = This game was great, The storyline was awesome, it was though confusing at sometimes-- but i got it. Theres a lot of time spent into this game, and YOU have to pay attention to some parts.

Graphics = Graphics were great for its time, i was amazed to see the opening scene for the first time. and the CG's in this were great.

Sound= Music composed by Nobuo Uematsu(something like that), he has some of the best music ever made. the Themes were great, and the Every slash, EVERY spell casted. Sounded GREAT.

Interactivity = ESPECIALY AT GOLD SAUCER. this game has A LOT of interactivity, the MATERIA, the arcade games, SNOWBOARDING, the arm wrestling, the SQUATS.

The only part i EVER hated in FF7? when i choose to walk up all the stairs..........................

EDIT: to one of the guys above who said you cant quad cast knights of round table. You can, i just forget how to do it. I hated it IT TOOK FOREVER TO END.

Autocast Phoenix.

VII hands down! I really couldn't get into VIII, hated Tactics, V was alright, Dirge was good bc it had Vincent (awesome character) and the other person was right X & X2 both needed something but I'm not sure what. (Although once I figured out blitzball I was hooked:). In VII I could do Chocobo racing allday (and still put it in sometimes just to do it) and Barret cussed! VII is a must have classic. All that being said, the graphics on XII are BOSS! I also love that it's not a linear game & I can come & go as I please. GAMBITS! GAMBITS! GAMBITS! What I wouldn't have given for those and my mp refilling by walking in VII. If they could redo VII w/ X2 graphics and system, but change nothing else....I'd be in heaven.

Final Fantasy IX, love the cartoonie graphics.
I played VII twice but didnt like it as much, it does have alot left to do when youve got the airship, Im still collecting Gold Saucer points for Clouds limit.
Some good abilities:
Final attack- Phoenix
Quadra magic- Master magic
Counter attack- Steal as well
Wsummon- Knights of the Round

Final Fantasy V. I don't know why, as it's probably one of the lowest on most lists right above II, but it really got to me. The job system is fun and easy to level with, the animation is nice (well for 2D sprites it looks cool) and it's really unique in it's own way. Though of the more recognizable ones, I'd say FF VIII, because it was my first one.

i went by the name sephiroth before i became a can of beans, i'll go with FFX cause the GF's were cool and bltzball. I very much liked the world of VIII and X2 was certainly the sexiest. VII did start it all though.

Seven. Its characters were the most interesting, and the mood was an interesting somber future setting, which was unique at the time. It has the most success spawning a movie, an OVA, and several spin-off games.

My personal favorite had to be X, just because I loved the graphics and the storyline...But IX is also pretty cool...but that just might be because it was the first one I played....
