The problem is that DNA degrades pretty quickly after an organism has died. At the moment I believe that the oldest DNA that has been found is from a Neanderthal and is 70,000 - this is an exception rather than the rule. As dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago finding dino DNA that has been preserved enough to enable us to get anything meaningful out of it it is very unlikely.
Have a look at this link, it gives a list of comprehensive reasons as to why Jurassic park could not be recreated. http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/diapsids/buzz/popular.html

No. Firstly in Jurassic Park the amber containing the mosquito was said to come from The Dominican Republic, this is not possible as the amber in that country was formed millions of years AFTER the dinosaurs were extinct. If it were possible to extract dinosaur DNA from some source and clone it the resulting creatures would be in serious trouble as the make-up of the atmosphere today is not the same as it was in the Jurassic period and they would probably not be able to breathe it properly. Today there is a totally different range of viruses and bacteria which they would have no resistance to at all and would certainly kill them in a very short time. Pity though!

No, if dino DNA could be got from an insect in amber, it would be so degraded as to be useless. We do not have the means.

Wouldn't it be wonderful? To finally be able to see them in living color unfortunately with our current technologies, I think we would be hard pressed to produce one or a few.
