im trying to get pregnant. my boyfriend uses drugs (pills, cociaine and weed). will this effect his sperm and therefore cause our baby to have problems? or will the baby only be effected if i myself use drugs when pregnant? thanks

sorry if i made it out as though he is a druggy. hes 21 and does stuff like that on a weekend only. we are both in uni and he even says he will stop the drugs once we have a child. thanks

yes since your baby would be getting DNA from a druggie - yes it can affect the baby. you need to take a serious look at what your trying to do - do you really want to screw up a child's life by bringing him/her into a life with a druggie as a father - great role model - no offense but if you think this is a good idea than you are not ready or responsible enough to be a parent either

The harm is most if you use drugs however you may want to ask yourself if this is the type of likestyle you want to bring a child into.
His drug use will impact sperm mobility, making it more difficult for you to get pregnant however this may be a blessing in disguise.

Yes your baby can be deformed, my uncle was a heavy drug user and both his children had deformities.Besides that...why on earth would you want to have children with a druggie?Sounds like you don't have very high standards for yourself.Save yourself a world of hurt....get out of the relationship...get on birth control!!

yes ..it is a proven fact that smoking weed kills sperm count. yes, your baby can be affected by your boyfriends drug use..please be careful

if the baby doesn't come adopt one and i'm sorry to say it's very hard to quit drugs
