Are you saying that you do not want to have to be subtle, you just want to get to business, is that the question? If it is, foreplay is very important, if you can't put forth an effort or be a tease(as a way to be subtle)then your wife isn't going to care either way,she deserves to have a sex life also.

are you kidding me?.... you two are married, if she gets extra flirty, go along with it and get flirty too, you have to get her "in the mood" to make love, dont ask her "do you wanna have sex?" that will turn her off, like kiss her neck, be romantic, lick her neck and kiss her deeply, all of the above should work for breaking the ice, if it all works, one thing will lead to another.
