I read all of the books and I have seen all of the movies. I took many obsession quizes on Harry Potter and many other quizes, too. Harry Potter is my life. . . almost. Please help!

Hey,
I love Harry too! Who doesn't? We all are going too far! But now that we all are? What is too far? You should start a fan club! I would be the first to join!
Think about it! Or you can have a diary and pretend that you live next to Harry and all his friend in a cul-de-sac. That would be fun!
Have fun!

Ah! I don't know if I can really help you there..I, too, am completly obbssesed with Harry Potter. I have been since fourth grade...and now I'm a freshman in high school! That's like..five-ish years. :o
My advice is to stay the same until the seventh book comes out [I would say until all the movies come out, but that can be until 2010!!] , then slowly get out of the obbsession. Start reading other books, take up sewing/knitting, learn how to cook, start playing a sport..just do something different to get out of the obbsession!
I guess it would be like forgeting about an old boyfriend [the other users said this..i agree]..

Hope this helps!

What you should do depends on what you want.

If you want to keep obsessing over Harry Potter, you could always re-read the books, re-watch the movies, read fanfiction, write fanfiction, daydream, etc.

If you want to get over your obsession, I'd suggest finding another book or movie that can catch your interest. Maybe you'd enjoy the Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis. Or perhaps the Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander would appeal to you. If neither of these is interesting, try asking your librarian for other suggestions of books to read that are similar to Harry Potter. They have lots of suggestions!

Don't panic. Like an old boyfriend you'll get over the obsession in time. Unlike an old boyfriend you can always snuggle up and have a Harry Potter fix. I like the series too and I wish JKR would continue it but there's more great literature in the world than you'll ever have time to read.

Pick up "Hawaii" by James Michener and introduce yourself to an author whose greatness exceeds even that of J.K. Rowling. Trust me on this.
