No, but I am sick to death of Eastern Europeans coming to our country and being sponges. I think as a nation we are too lenient towards other nationalists. Blair has open doors to these Eastern Europeans who benefit so much form coming to our country and learning a very important language and earning 4-5 times more than what they would in their own country. What do we get from them? nothing. They take, take, take. There is far more racism in countries like France and Germany, you know what, I wish we we more like them and put our own people first, which this country has failed to do, considering the recent report on how British children are doing compare with other European countries. We as a nation should not be so lenient towards all these foreigners coming in to our country.

Not really but there is a rising resentment to the governments empathy towards asylum seekers and the amount of eastern Europeans coming to the country.Sure they are allowed here and fair play that they are seeking to earn a better living but they are causing a housing shortage and they work cheaply.
That however was not what you asked the English are not racist by nature we are a very tolerant lot.

If Racism = Prejudice + Power, then European derived cultures (as opposed to Asian, African, Oceanic and New World cultures) are typically racist because they have historically had a great deal of power, and still do. While an African or Hawaiian person may have prejudice they do not usually have power within the systems in the society. So not only will a black person more likely be stopped by police because of prejudice (in a euro-dominated society) but the power of many police forces is the power of euro-worldviews enforced by judges, politicians, business owners, etc.

English people are civilized.
Only the imperialists and the colonialists were racist. They brutally exploited people in various places on earth in the name of civilization, while sabotaging all native traditions.
Now, mankind are entering the age of maturity, let us forgive and forget all the mistakes of the immature age, and join hands in building a better world for all.

"Inherent" implies that they were born racist, whereas racism is taught by society and culture. Also it would't be fair to say that the English are racist, when every culture has its share of racists.

Nah, there culture just revolves on anyone who has english customs and manners. Plus they are usually snobby. I could understand why alot of them are racist cause unlike the U.S. the english were there first in the U.K.

I don't think so. Like Americans, they don't like people coming to their country ( with quite a history !!) and making demands and requesting privileges that Englishmen have fought for ... for centuries. Why should a certain group of people expect the same rights just by showing up in England. No, I don't think so at all.

I am a german and I do not think so. I always in my live met nice Englanders / tommies.
On your woman you can be really proud on. They are really cool & spicy (how do you say that...).

Punk music influenced many germans of my generation , more than they dare to admit.
Vivian Westwood, the Beatles and, and and ..., that are examples for your cultural exports. That is something you can be proud on.
(... and ..with hooligans, right-wing-squared we have the same problems in germany)

In the u.s.-of-america everbody wants to be the biggest shot.
Here in germany at e.g. at my long ago high school times everybody wanted to be the biggest punk. Phps., here in europe we are different... just think about.

For me, you are the best tommies in the world :)
