Ya actually I was calling suburban propane and finding out about my refund since I moved. The autimated lady came on and said there's a high level volume of calls so please stay on the line and the next available operator will be with you. So I thought ok I'll put it on speaker phone. The enxt thing I know it my 2 year old daughter needed a sippy cup. I was in the kitchen and I heard a ladies voice comming from the computer room. I was like whats that noice thinking maybe its a friend buzzing me on chat. Later whn I went back in there I realized oh shoot I was on hold and I missed the call so I had to start all over and by that time they closed. Damn being put on hold. It blows.

I hang up after 2 or 3 minutes.

I hate being put on hold and I hate the elevator music that they play and they say "Your call is important to us please continue to hold and someone will answer your call in the order it was received" over and over. I hang up if it is not really important otherwise I continue to hold and gripe about it the whole time

I almost always hang up unless it's some important call. I will always hang up when I'm on my cell phone during 'daytime minutes' and some jerk off friend of mine puts me on hold.

yeh! if someone put's u on hold just hang up and they will call u back! If they say " why did u hang up" say oh i don't like 2 wait sorry!
