beastiality - Just a sexual preference?

What do you think of beastiality? Is it a sick act or just a type of sexual preference?

There is actually some debate as to whether this can be considered a sexual preference. It is no longer listed in the DSM (the diagnostic manual for psychiatrists) as a pathology, unless it causes distress for the person who feels this kind of attraction. My personal opinion is that it is akin to paedophilia. Sexual contact between a child and an adult is considered abuse, because the child is considered incapable of giving consent. By the same token, an animal really cannot consent to sexual activity with a human, so such activity can be considered as abusive to the animal. There are all kinds of paraphilias, such as sado-masochism or fetishism to which two adults can consent. To those folks, I say, as long as you're both in agreement, it's nobody's business what you're doing in your bedroom. I just don't think this applies to human / animal sexual contact.

Really difficult to say. I am not even sure that it can be considered as sex to be honest.
I certainly find it hard to understand any attraction of this type of thing but if anything I would probably class it with autoerotic behavior with inanimate objects. Provided there is no cruelty to the animal there is probably nothing actively against using them as a sex toy but the desire to do so probably represents a psychological problem.

I think beastiality is sick because humans were meant for humans not for animals. If we were meant for animals we would be able to reproduce with them. I think someone who wants to have sex with animals needs serious help because their perception of life is sort of distorted.

No. anyone having sex with animals is a disgrace to humanity. it is vulgar.
