A plant hire company hires out large machinery to building firms etc (Eg, diggers, cherry pickers, jcb's).
You cant be serious about the shop assistant?

Usually, I would say go look it up on google,but a plant hire company hires out large machinery for construction purposes they usually have the option to hire out machinery which includes excavators,TLB's and tipper trucks.I know this because my Uncle has a plant hire company http://www.jaundresplanthire.co.za/ this should give you more of an idea what these companies do.A shop assistant I don't really get what you mean by that if you said, receptionist, I would understand.
