There reach for stuff when they can stand. Just grabbing stuff as early as three months.

Usually a baby reaches for stuff when he or she is about six to seven months old. But there are babies like mine who started reaching sor stuff at four months old. No two babies are alike. The best answer is whenever he or she is ready.

My daugther was 2 months when she grabbed for her toys, and at 2 1/2 months she was holding her own toys, and by 3 1/2 months she was reaching. Shes now 5 1/2 months and reaches for everything, she even reaches for her bottle when we show it to her. All babies are different though, my cousins baby didn't grab for toys till she was 4 months.

There is no set timeline for how babies grow up. Let them experience all that they're boides are capable of, within safe limits.
