I am buying an ipod and would it be better to get a white or a colored one? White is cheaper and everything..but i just dont know!

The OLDER white nanos and the older black nanos get scratched easier than the new colored nanos. The new colored nanos have a matte texture, so if you get one of those, the actual ipod will not get scratched as easily. If you are planning on getting a video ipod, they have the old slick texture, which gets scratched so much that you cant even see the screen. I have an old black one and its very scratched, even though i keep it in a case. If you don't want to spend more money on a colored one, just buy a white one and get an iSkin from www.iskin.com and they have those in cool colors and designs. =]

The colors of the ipod do not influence the price. If someone is charging you more for a colored one than for a white one, you're being ripped off. Just pick the shade you like. There is no 'better' one, its just personal preference.

Get the white one since its cheaper. You can always buy those sets of colored cover things later on if you want so you can change the color to whatever you feel like.

Well i got a black one - I'd recommend a colored one just for long time maintenance sake... cause white gets dirty faster. Colored ones are more visually appealing too :D. Or you could get the white since it's cheaper and just buy a cover for it.

I have a black iPOD video and it's great... Actually, white and black are the same price, but I guess it depends where you buy it from! My opinion though, go with the black!
If you are talking about the new colored Nanos, personally I would choose a colored one, especially if your a teenager! White is just to plain for me! Your Welcome!

I agree, i would get the colored one. So that way if there are any scratches then they won't be as noticable. Or, wat u can do is that u can get the white one. just get a colored cover to protect it. i'm sure u would want to do the same with the colored one, but hey, if u wanna match ur ipod or something and u have like all white, u'll match! ^_^

hey! i think u should buy the color but, if u want 2 be cheep then buy the white ipod, casue if u buy white u can always buy a color case!
