When i go to some of the sims download websites all they keep saying is the word mesh and meshes please some one tell me what they are and what they do

The objects in the sims are made up of two parts (okay, more, but mostly two distinct parts): SKINS and MESHES. Most people say 'skins' when they're just talking about clothing, but objects can have skins too.
For example, when you look at the beds in game, for instance, and they come in different colors, those are different skins, but the same shape. A mesh is the physical form. Some of the designers who design new objects or funny looking clothes design 'meshes' that mean the actual shape is new. Skins lay on top of meshes.
If a download says 'new mesh', that's fine. Follow the instructions for downloading an installing. If it says 'requires FoxyLady24532's mesh,' you'll need to go find that one.

Its like a different body shape or hair shape other than maxis , i don't realy understand myself but thats what I know
