your friends probably are proud of you but just won't admit it because...well...they probably think you're better then them now & its making them jealous...just give them some time if they're your real friends they'll come around

You don't really need to fish for complements. Usually friends will wait until you actually get your law degree or past the BAR exam, but they should be saying congrats.
it seems like they're aren't that interested in it as much as you hoped

After you've acomplish all of that, they are sure to be very proud of you.
