Computer question?

My laptop turned itself off and it wont turn back on, I don't know why it would have crashed because I recently scanned for viruses...It shouldn't be a battery problem because it was plugged into the wall, could the battery still have broken somehow? I can't think of why else it did this.

It could be a motherboard or processor problem. you'll need to return it for repair if its that.

power to computer but nothing comes on, right?

that is not a 'power issue'
