The space bar on my laptop is very stiff and therefore doesn't work unless I hit it really hard. The control key is the same too although the space bar is more annoying because I can't touch type properly any more. It isn't 'springy' anymore. What can I do?

Firstly MAKE SURE YOUR COMPUTER IS TURNED OFF..
The best thing to do is use a small "flat blade "screwdriver to remove the stuck keys...
(be careful not to break them.. One side will "click" then do the other side)
Clean the "holes" with a hoover / vacuum first then a really mildly damp cloth or sponge.. Same goes with the keys but they can be left in soapy water..
Make sure everything is dry then return the keys to their home.. The space bar has a metal pin / clip attached to it.
When replacing you will see which slot it fits into when returning it to its home.. (if you cant just mail me some pictures and i will help you through messenger)
Hope this helps!!!!!

If your laptop is under warranty, have the company fix it.

Otherwise you might be able to order a replacement from somewhere. Keyboards on laptops are usually surprisingly easy to replace.

It might have got tea or orange juice or something in it. You should be able to pull the keys off and clean it out.
