My step son was at a youth group meeting so we had the house all to ourselves. I dressed up the way he likes, put fresh sheets on the bed and lit candles. Called him upstairs to get his "present". Just as he came up the stairs, his son walked in the front door. The meeting was canceled. Bummer!

My hubby got me some beautiful roses in a swan vase and broke the vase. It got my card all wet and the flowers had no water left in them.
I made a big deal about how unique my card was and how beautiful the vase was. Then I moved the flowers into a different vase and dried my card with a hair dryer.
We both got a terrific laugh out of it. I know no one else received a sopping wet card and a broken swan vase!

I got the usual, flowers, candy etc., then we went driving around. The then bf jumped a curb and literally drove through a park...donuts and all. No sooner did we get out of the park, then the police showed up...close call!

my girl came to meet me at lunch for work we went to teh gun range (she had never been and i've only been like 4 or 5 times)
so that was fun a light lunch then when i got home she was wearing her old high school cheerleading unform (yep thats right i got the captian)hahah laying in the bed covered with ballons and hersey's kisses and in the ballons she had written notes in each one and made me pop them and teh note where all reall cute.....
i gave her a stupid flower and card....funny thing is we both agreed not to do anything for v-day but both ended up doing it anyways hahaha

My husband is in Korea and when he asked if we were going to send each other anything for valentines I said "not much, I only spent about $10 because I know you don't want anything you will have to pack and bring home" and somehow he got "no, we aren't doing anything" out of that. So I didn't even get a freaking Ecard from him.

My 7 yr old son had his daddy sit next to me on the couch (daddy only sits in his chair) so he could give us presents. He gave me a teddy bear he got from State Farm for free & gave a stuffed lobster to his dad. Ok, you had to be there but his excitement to give us gifts he had procured himself - with grandma's help - was too cute to be denied.

we went to church to dinner with kids and grand kids and put our v day off til the weekend when we could b alone grand baby spent the night and slept on paw paws arm were i usualy sleep but hes cute so i let him!

Yea. My crush handed me a heart shaped candy box of candy and whispered somthing. I smiled and opened it. It said "I love you forever." I took out a candy and poped it into my mouth. He looked at me funny and said "I thought you were gonna pass it to courtney!"
