Normally I don't answer short answer questions like this, but...
YES!
More than anything, they create an "us vs. them" mentality that demonizes the enemy and polarizes Americans. And then liberals hear the shows, hear the acid spouting from their mouths, and then just hate conservatives.
In reaction, there certainly have been liberals who have done the same thing (although I'd say Al Franken's quasi-comedic, fact-based humor is a little different from the hate spouted in conservative talk radio day to day).
Look at this answer from above:
QUOTE:
No, not at all...
Conservative talk radio simply points out the Anti American position
and self serving stupidity of the Liberals and the Liberals don't like
to be exposed to reality and truth...
Why has Liberal talk radio always been a failure ?
Because the truth does not bother conservatives...
ENDQUOTE.
"Anti-American position ... self-serving stupidity of the Liberals"
"The truth does not bother conservatives..."
What is this except ad hominem attack -- characterizing the other side as "Anti-American." That's rage against liberals... this guy probably really believes that "liberals" (whoever they are) are Anti-American, not that they have a different vision for America, or that they want to protect American rights, interests and families in a different way, or have different priorities about what is best about America.
The only people I feel are unamerican are those who attempt to squelch debate about the direction the country takes and those who would seek the violent overthrow of the government into a dictatorial model. And NO mainstream liberals OR conservatives really want either of those things. But yet we continue to fling these insults-- perhaps because we're in seclusion in our offices (or radio cubicles), perhaps we are not sure enough of our own ideas, perhaps we just like the group mentality and need a naural enemy. But unless we want our country to end up in the abyss, it needs to stop.

Give me a break. You've got liberals calling the CINC a chimp, comparing him to Hitler, calling troops baby killers and comparing them to Nazis. If conservative talk radio is "provoking rage" on the conservative side what is the excuse for the left? The hatred and vitriol coming from the left is as great if not more than what you see coming from the right.
My rage (it's more like irritation) stems from the lefts inability to comprehend anything that isn't fed to them in 30 second sound bites or presented in comedic form on the Daily show.

Absolutely, Rush, Shawn, Ann, and Michael, all spread the "facts" they are just saying what the neo-cons want to hear but it is usually false testimony, untruths, innuendo's and down right lies, but the reds eat it up. You can see some of their answers here and questions that come right off of these programs. Do not forget Faux news is a perpetrator, of these things also. Liberals are commie's is a theme of that "great American" Hannity. Free speech is had by all. Bad as it is there is no way to silence them as long as sponsors, sponsor, and there is money to be made. Appeasing the repuke's.

provide me a wreck. you have have been given liberals calling the CINC a chimp, comparing him to Hitler, calling troops toddler killers and comparing them to Nazis. If conservative communicate radio is "upsetting rage" on the conservative element what's the excuse for the left? The hatred and vitriol coming from the left is as super if no extra effective than what you spot coming from the dazzling. My rage (it is extra like inflammation) stems from the lefts lack of ability to appreciate something that may not fed to them in 30 2nd sound bites or provided in comedic kind on the every day tutor.

They represent the conservative viewpoint. The only rage that comes out of them is how pissed off we are at liberals.
Congress has spent two weeks debating a useless resolution that has no relevance on anything but political pandering.
Democrats have done nothing of relevance since they have been in charge.
I am sick of them already. They are a bunch of liars. Top of the list is Clinton who has been caught on video making the case for war with Iraq.
Hopefully, these people will not get us killed.

Conservative talk radio is provoking laughs between Liberals and Conservatives. It's entertainment not news, and most intelligent people treat it that way, whether they are Liberal or Conservative.
Rush Limbaugh really is a big fat idiot, just like the future Senator from the great state of Minnesota labeled him in his bestselling book "Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot".
Liberals love Ann Coulter as much as Conservatives do, and in the end both Liberal (honest) Americans and Conservative (dishonest) Americans are both American.

No more than Mike Malloy, Al Franklen, Nancy Skinner &
Thom Hartmann teach hatred of conservatives. It worked with you as you have picked up their "neo-con" phrase. It is entertainment nothing more, if you want liberal news just turn on ABC or CBS or CNN (communist news network). Try to look at both sides not just yours.

Calling Hannity, Limbaugh, Coulter, Savage neocons show that you, like most on YA, have no idea what a neoconservative actually is. Perhaps you should do some research.

Perhaps it is simply trying to counter the rest of the mass media in an effort to provide both sides of the issues.
