I personally have always liked rock and will always like rock . Im trying 2 prove 2 a friend rock is better than rap

rock takes talent, a team of people playing instruments together to make a sound, rap is mostly synthesized and jsut a bunch of talking to a beat

Rap sucks. BUT, I do like Snoop because he is not just Rap. He has done cover stuff with Rage and a LOT of other Non-rap artists.

rap rap rap rap rap rap!!!!! me and my friend do the same thing, she likes rock, and i like rap. anywayz rap is way better, it has a beat a ryhem, and good music, and the lyrics are so fun!! if you randomly start singing in some place, while listening to ur mp3, and they cant hear the song, sometimes ppl go pale! lol so much fun! anyway i like some rock, but is just so, blah. i do like gothmetal, and some punk... omg punk rap! how cool would that be?

well, IMO it takes FAR more talent to make rock music work than rap. I like a lot of rap, but as a genre, rock is better simply because of the talent it takes to make it.
