as many people think (I personally don't)...why are we all critizing her in her darkest moments? She's been through a rough time...Do we only favor people whose lives seem to be perfect? We all make mistakes so that we can learn from them...why are people so nasty?

The only reason people critize her is because she is a celebrity. If your next door neighbor acted the same way, no one would care. It's part of being famous, every watches and has a opinion.

Probably because we like to bring others down to make ourselves feel better.
I have very little sympathy for her though because she now has two babies to take care of and she no longer gets to be a trainwreck, regardless of whatever rough time she's gone through.
Plus, she's a celebrity and she's sold her life for the millions of dollars that she's currently snorting up her nose, so screw it, criticize away!

Personally I used to be into Britney Spears and her puffy Poppy teenage poder puff girl thing with the sequens and glitter but now im a goth and we of the goth society have decided that we like her hair black but we would appraicite more goth music:p

Because people enjoy other people's missery.
And, because she's a public person. And, she has let down a lot of people, because she pretended to be something that she's not (a pure & innocent girl) when she is just a normal girl who lost track...

She's a train wreck, but a good chunk of it was brought upon her by her own doings. Rough time or not, its all over dramatized because of her position in life. I have hard times in my life, but I don't turn them into drunken club nights or stupid marriage affairs or whatever. I don't feel bad for her, I just can't.
