my canon digital camera got messed up yesturday and this error E 18 comes out, so i'm trying to get a new one since they're charging me $90.00 to fix it. what is a good and inexpensive digital camera out there. what are some good brands that actually last for a couple of years?? thanks!

My choices of digital cameras boils down to 2 brands SONY Cybershot sries and Canon Powershot series. And i go with Sony anytime :

The Canon Rebel is sweet...
I have a Sony Powershot right now, and I have been immensely happy with it for a point-and-shoot digital camera.

Nikon, I got a brand new Nikon Coolpix 5900 off ebay with only a microscopic dent in the side for $100 and these cameras are usually about $300

I have the Canon Powershot S2, and it draws raves from the professionals, and a good price. Then, you know Canon.

Fuji or Nikon,,, used a fuji digital as a journalist, but that was before they got faster and better for shooting sports,,,

A GOOD DIGITAL CAMRA IS A KODAK I HAS 5.1 M.P AND ITS ONLY LIKE 50.00 OR LIKE 40.00 MY FRIEND HAS ONE MINE WAS 120.00 BUT ITS NOT KODAK AND IT IS JUST AS GOOD SO I WOULD OF RATHER PAID 50.00
