It depends on the continent. For North America the lowest point is located in Death Valley, California at -282 ft (-86m) below sea level.

lowest in elevation or farthest south, farthest south is italy i would guess, maybe spain, elevation generally doesn't get lower than sea level so anywhere on the coast but that is hardly meaningful.
