The rule is that all presidents that have been dead for at least two years will be on a $1 coin. For that reason:
Reagan - Yes
Nixon - Yes
Ford - Yes
Clinton - Not yet (still very much alive)
Ditto both Bushes and Carter.
Some of the people who responded before me need to understand that these coins are being made primarily for the collector market and you probably will never see one in circulation.

I hate the idea of the dollar coin. Already machines are charging $1.25 for a bottled soda and I'm sure with this new coins that companies are going to continue to tort our minds by the idea that it's only change. Seems like the song "When a buck was a buck" could now be taken literally.

I think when their time comes, they will be on the new coin. Did you miss the part of changing every three weeks to change to a new President in order.

I like the dollar coin, just so long as it isn't easily confused with the quarter (Susan B), or look like a giant penny after a while.

I think they'll all be on coins eventually. God help us when you can pay for a burger and fries with Two Bushes and a Nixon.
