Would I be able to used my Ipod fm transmitter with an Ipod Shuffle?

In other words, can I connect an Ipod Shuffle to my fm transmitter; or would I have to purchase one specifically for the Ipod Shuffle?
The fm transmitter I have has the normal Ipod connection and an usb connection.

Yes. As long as adevice has a 3.5mm audio output jack, you can use it to connect to an fm transmitter.

The transmitter must have its own battery, and connect through the headphone jack. The iTrip doesn't do this, but many others do.
