All categories

1. change them one at a time
2. unwind the string u want to change
3. take that string off
4. put the new string through the bridge, saddles, and up to the headstock
5. push the new string through the tuning machine hole
6. pull the string towards the headstock
7. underneath the string
8. and then over the string
9. tighten

make sure that when you tighten the string you wind it so they all turn the same way or it'll just be sloppy and you'll have to remember everytime you tune it. also leave a little slack so you can wrap it around a time or two whem winding it. two rookie mistakes.

On a straight electric,this is good but when you have restrung,put your hand under the strings and keep stretching the strings.Don't be afraid to pull hard and then tune up and it should stay in tune.

yup you can do that but what i do is take the back off (look at back of guitar and unscrew the plastic/metal panel) then untighten the other end of the string and pull the string out from back, and then take the new string and push it through the back like it went in, and then tighten the other end youll want a string winder pick one up at the local music store

THat's how I do it. It works for me.. and I've been playing for six years!! btw...when you tune them tug upward so they won't pop out of tune when you start playing.

Sounds good to me! Be sure you clean/polish the neck as well, it'll get rid of all that dead skin.
