In 2005 for Russians there were 38 visa-free countries (including many former republics of USSR, but also Cuba, Marocco, Croatia, Peru) and 20 countries with visa being stamped on arrival (including Thailand, Indonesia, Kenya). Since then Thailand has become a visa-free.

The entire list (as of 2005)
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Barbados, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cook Islands, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Dominic, Eastern Timor, Ecuador, Fiji, Grenada, Haiti, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Malaysia, Maldives, Micronesia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Morocco, Namibia, Nicaragua, Niue, Peru, Saint -Vincent and Grenadines, Saint-Lucia, Samoa, Seychelles islands, Sri Lanka, Tadzhikstan, Tuvalu, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu

Visa at the airport:
Bahrain, Cambodia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Indonesia, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Laos, Lebanon, Macao, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nepal, Oman, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey

Thailand is now visa-free

Thailand will give a 10 day visa on arrival, Malaysia will give a one month visa on arrival, nowhere in Schengen countries or the rest of Europe really or North America. I don't know about South America or Africa.
Possibly easier to ask a travel agent in Russia.
