This question is open to debate. If you are wondering what will happen to the value of Chrysler vehicles if the company is sold, I do not think it would have much effect, especially in the long run. Chrysler Group is not likely to disappear as an automotive nameplate regardless of who the parent company is. Chrysler Corporation "merged" with Daimler-Benz in 1998 to form DaimlerChrysler with no interruption.

The best historical comparison to the "what if Chrysler disappears" scenario is Studebaker, which ceased auto production in 1966. The more collectible examples, such as the Avanti, did retain their value. It is far, far more likely Chrysler Group will continue into the foreseeable future.

Potential suitors for purchase are numerous. However, I cannot help but think one of the emerging Chinese auto manufacturers would have the most to gain. The Chinese are nakedly promoting a dramatic expansion into the international marketplace. Either Chery and Geely, for example, would instantaneously gain an extensive existing dealer, parts and service presence in the largest vehicle market in the world. Either could sell its current domestic products (under US specs) as entry level US transportation. Conversely, either would also be able to bring trucks, SUVs and larger vehicles into the growing Chinese vehicle market without having to design their own versions.
