Yes, my mom thought is would be cool to dress me and my sister the same all the time when growing up. We aren't twins but we look a lot alike already. People would mistake us for each other all the time.

My mom did the same, but I have two sisters and sometimes she would dress all of us in the same clothes and sometimes it was me and one of my other sisters... Its a Parent thing, they think it looks adorable, but after each kid is over the age of five they don't dress us up the same, because then its just lame or it gets old. yeah... my sisters and I are not triplets, I'm the youngest, then my other sister is two years older than me, then my other sister is four years older than me. so yeah... it happens...

There are two years between my sister and I. We were dressed alike, usually on special occasions.Sometimes different colors, identical outfits.
She and I have never looked alike.
Maybe we were dressed alike, so we didn't get mixed up with the other kids....lol

Nope. One time while shopping, my sister & I talked my mom into buying us matching shirts. We pretended to be twins, even though we were different sizes. That's the only time.

There were 6 in my family. We did dress the same but it just took awhile for the hand me downs to get passed to each of us.

My mom would do things like put my brothers and I in red shirts and blue jeans or other themed type outfits, but that was only for pictures...which was once a year. Of course that stopped when we hit the teen years (thank God)
Other than that, she didn't do it on the grounds she felt it was 'abso-freakin-lutely stupid'

I remember when I was young my Mom bought my brother and I matching shirts for a plane flight. I was really kind of mad about that, and I can understand your resentment as well. Break free from the oppression and weirdness!
