The two main things people eat on a weekly basis is some kind of meat and potatoes. As for drinks and snacks I'd say most people drink water, for snacks I'd bet it's any kind of chips and dip. I myself cannot do without freetos and cheese dip.

I try to eat every four hours. It is a metabolism booster. The snack I had last night was a Hunt's low fat vanilla pudding mixed in with 1/4 cup rice crispies. It satisfies the urge for something creamy and crunchy. It is also good with raisin bran flakes.
I also like cheese or nuts of ALL kinds for a snack.
Lately I am making slow cooker or pressure cooker meals like :
A round roast with potatoes turnips whole white onions served with a side salad. (the left over roast is used for sandwiches)
A seafood (also in slowcooker) stew with salmon, shrimp, squid and oysters with a medley of veggies served over basmatti rice.
A curry dish (slowcooker) made with chicken OR the leftover from seafood strew. I make it with rice in the cooker and serve it with a bean salad with a tangerine & garlic dressing.
I also like to bar-b-que once a week, (salmon or chicken or hamburger) served with salads & grilled or steamed veggies.
I will make casroles and soups from scratch. Various dishes with sweat potatoes, peppers of all colours, zuccini, squash... esp Spaghetti squash.
Pasta dishes are simple... use a whole wheat pasta. Make the sauces simple with good things in them like finely chopped onion, cilantro or veggies.
Hint: after pasta is cooked, drained, break an egg and stir. The heat from the pasta cooks the egg.
For breakfast it is porridge (I add dried fruit and/or banana into the mixture while it is cooking) twice a week it is 2 poached eggs on toast.
For lunch I will throw leftovers together or make pizza on flat tortias.
At least once a week I go out for all three meals.
Drinks?
Weakness is A&W rootbeer.
Juice, wine, Water, tea, Martinis, coffee (in the morn b4 noon)
HOT chocolate
One thing I stress about cooking is DON'T BE AFRAID OF YOUR KITCHEN OR YOUR SPICE RACK!

I cook all meals home-made except on Friday...fish out!
I am a Diet Pepsi addict and love my ice cream and/or chips with Buffalo Wing dip. I have meatloaf, potatoes, salad or spaghetti with salad, or lasagna, or chili or steaks on the grill, with veggies and salad possibly a baked potato with steak. One night a week is usually soup/sandwich night or hot dog night with homemade french fries. I do love either a bowl of ice cream or cereal for night time snack.....whoops-- almost forgot breakfast. Toast w/peanut butter or eggs w/ toast, or Grits, or bowl of cereal or back to the peanut butter toast again. One morning I just blew
caution to the wind -- ate in all abandonment and had Ice cream and chocolate cake for breakfast! Live Wild!!! ;)

mmmmm. now this is a fun-and tasty- question!
it really depends on my mood, but generally when it comes to snacks i'll have ACT II popcorn(butter lover's my fav) and sometimes i melt cheedar cheese and pour on it. yum. then ANY AND EVERY CHEESE BY-PRODUCT KNOWN TO MAN! Cheetos, cheese whiz, cheese spread, shredded cheese, and then just plain ole' cheese by itself. and sometimes i have it with jam-strawberry, it's really good try it! i am a cheese fanatic. then there's chocolate-hot chocolate, double chocolate chip muffins, hersheys, cadburry-which i save for those days when i'm feeling down. it just lifts me backup. ahh chocolate-the wonder food. but generally everything dairy i love to eat; yogurt, eggs, milk, cheese the whole nine yards. even though i'm a singer and shouldn't be having that stuff so often(lol).
now for breakfast and dinner, especiallysince i'm jamaican, i have a lot of ground provision; like yam, boiled banana, pumpkin, potatoes, carrots, etc. and i have that with saltfish or codfish and cabbage or fish or chicken. to drink i normally have cranberry juice(Ocean spray) or grape juice. all about the fruits!
o the weeknds now i normally just have porridge or cereal for breakfast(i love conrmeal porridge and cheerios!) and on saturday i have soup for dinner and sundays chicken or fish or spaghetti.
