Earl Boykins a current player is listed at 5'6", Yao Ming is 7'4 ", Spud Webb a retired player was 5'8" and I am sure there are a lot more in that range.

Yes, Spud Webb was one of the little guys and Earl Boykins is 5'5" today.
Manute Bol was 7'5 or 7'6 and Ralph Sampson was said to be 7'4", Gheorge Muresan was also 7'4 or so.
