Was Godfather 3 AS bad as everyone makes it out to be? People act like it's the worst film ever to be made. What do you think?

It's actually a good movie.
It has Godfather in the title, so if it isn't one of the best films ever it looks bad.
It also really suffered from not having Tom Hagen, but having his daughter. Sofia was terrible in that role.
It's a good movie, it wraps up the series, I loved the ending, and if it wasn't called a Godfather movie it would be well regarded.
It isn't nearly as good as the other 2.

The screenplay is good, but you had to know if you give Pacino a third run at a character study, he'll find a way to f*** it up.
Plus, Sofia Coppola gives one of the most dreadful performances I personally have ever seen.
Worst ever? Not even close - not even the worst sequel ever.

IT's not as bad as they are saying, I even enjoyed it.
It's bad when you compare it with the 1st and 2nd parts.

yes i do agree if they stopped after two it would make more sense
