yeah I am getting it in the neck at work as I have to enforce a full non-smoking rule but everyone smokes...they say if one wants to give up the others will stop them....
The Question I have is where will the government get the
£150 million yes MILLION pounds a day it gets from tobacco sales. and as the revenue of these sales are the second highest contributor to the NHS where will they get the money from to replace it...Doctors have said any treatment given to a smoker has been paid for many times over as they cost a few pence or cents to make but in the UK are £5.05 for 20 $10.10
Another instance where the Great British Law is an ***.
We Should have smoking rooms.
And what about the rights of the minority?
Would this hold up in the human Rights Court?
I wish I had the cash to take them and find out. they are taking away our liberties...
Alcohol Is responsible for more deaths than tobacco every year, you must take into account the actions of the people as well as effects on their bodies.

In the state of California you can't smoke in prision. Don't know about jail tho....seems like they are cracking down on everybody who smokes..even if it's outside so to console yourself you can always go to the nearest McDonalds and order up a great big sized meal with 1,000 grams of transfat...now thats healthy...

I think the council workers who are going to police the ban should be sent into prisons to stop the inmates smoking.

You can smoke in your bedroom as can prisoners.
You can not smoke at work, neither can prisoners.
You can not smoke in the pub, prisoners can't get as far as the pub (hopefully)
You can not smoke in a canteen, neither can prisoners.

Starting to see a pattern?

That's how crazy Blair has made this country. You can no longer smoke but prisoners in jail are allowed to use illegal heroin of coke because it's their human rights.
The sooner Bliar has gone the better !!
