I know most beanie babies are worthless, but I just found two of my old ones and am trying to find out how much their worth:

-one of them is called Valentina, it's from '98.

-the other is the Princess Diana beanie baby that's purple with a flower in the top right corner.

-both have all tags, and the ty tags are in plastic

-neither have holes, smell bad, or have even been played with.

does anybody know what they're ballpark value is, or an appraiser who could help?

There is a Ty Beanie Baby Collectors book out with the "value" of each beanie listed. But, in reality they are only worth what someone will pay for them.
Also, the more rare an item (the less of them there are) the more the supposed value goes up for people looking to complete a collection.
And I can also tell you that while your beanies are older, they are not rare - they were not too hard to get when they were produced. There are quite a few that are a lot older and therefore rarer - but again only worth what someone will pay.
The best way to find out what their "market value" is would be to go to sites like ebay or other auction sites or collectible sites and see what they are going for (not necessarily what people are asking - there is a difference.)
