Reading the answers to your question it strikes me our happiness depends on the actions of others. We can't be happy unless this, that or the other happens to us.
Happiness is a frame of mind. If you want to judge a mans success, don't count on money ( or other forms of materialism) count on true inner happiness.***
Ps
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter.

I have three ultimate moments and I can't decide which thrilled me more. 1. The day I married my husband and the joy he brings me to this day. 2. The birth of my first and only grandchild along with the day he recognized me for the very first time. So much joy. 3. The day I walked into a room filled with light. I'm not sure what this was, but the all encompassing feeling of tranquility, harmony, love, innocence and peace have remained a part of me to this very day. My quest is to relive that moment. I have so much to be grateful for.

Mine was the day me my dad, and my sister all went on a roadtrip together when I was about 10. I've never seen my dad have so much fun, usually we fought with him all the time, but on that trip my sister and I saw a differnt side. We laughed the whole time, played games, sang to the radio music, talked about alot of differnt things, and got to know one another a whole lot better.

As a young boy, me and my family made holiday in the UK. In TV there was the Band the Tubes playing wearing plastic bags and the landlord of the so called " bed&breakfirst inn" was squared and upset. Me and my sister thought, what a cool country with cool television

mine might seem a bit weird
the actual labour and birth of my 2 sons i had natural labour no drugs and the pain was so real and so intense it made me feel alive and that in turn made me think i really am having this baby
I've never had any good luck and had already lost one baby and all through my pregnancy it seemed to good to be true so i didn't dare believe it was happening to me in case something happened so i was numb nearly the whole time i was pregnant
