You know more - as you know either the Mother or Father if it's a half sis - Correct?
So If you know the Parent you should know the place of birth and roughly the age so then you can through Births Marriages and Deaths find out the Birth Certificate (costs £25)- which should give you the second Parent???

Then use this as much of as possible to try to find the school as there will only be so many in the area of Birth - also Parish Records - if Christened.....

I would start with Primary schools as each would be feeder to certain secondary schools - you can then try friends reunited and try to find school chums who may have info - like joined army or moved to ..... or always loved horses and then check out clubs associations in areas that make sense to school chums info.

There are also societies/charities of orphans and lost children/runaways that may be able to help you get back in touch.........

Wish you the very best of luck

Dave

If yo have an area that they may be try a Main?Central library. You can look in the Electoral register... takes a while but it can work. I found my Grandparents by this method. Try Friends Reunited as well.
Best of luck

It would help people answering your question if you told where u are ie UK or US. Saves confusion

http://www.longlostpeople.com/ This site might help. The fee is usually reasonable. I believe they go through driver license records. It's worth a shot.
