I am taking for granted that you are speaking of Big Ben Rothlisberger. It is too early to give him the "great" status. However he is better than average. I believe that he benefited his first year from a good offensive line, a good receiving core and a kick butt defense. The true test will be how he stands up as the veterans get older and a new coaching adminstration takes over.

If your talking about Ben Roethlisberger I think the fact that he is the youngest QB in history to win a superbowl tells the story. He was younger than Tom Brady was when he won his first. And dont forget that the year before he he was drafted the steelers were 6-10 when he got there they went 15-1 end of discussion

Dude I'm usually football 101, but I have no clue to who you are referring to. In fact, I think that statment alone answers your question. If no one knows who you are then you're average at best. lol are you Roth?

The Roeth had a bad year...almost dying and seeing the light can have that effect on a fella. I think he will improve this year with the team...the only thing holding them back now is the coaching staff.

He is above average, but he isn't great. He can lead a team (duh, he won a Super Bowl) and as long as he has reliable targets his stats will be there.

Like I would rather have Peyton, Brady, and Palmer over him. But I wouldn't want a Grossman, Leftwich, Eli Manning over him though.

Average. He couldn't do much of anything when his supporting cast didn't perform up to last year's level. Which makes him supporting cast himself...
