I mean like what rides or places I should go when I'm at the Magic Kingdom

Let me just say, it would probably be easier to list the things that aren't as fun to see, but here are some of my favorites!
Haunted Mansion, Pet Pan's Flight, Jungle Cruise, Mickey's Philharmagic and then Pirates of the Caribbean and Small World. I think pirates and small world are a similar ride experience, while both are fun the line for Pirate's has really increased since the movies have become so popular. So, if you are limited on you may consider doing one or the other, but both are great.
Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain.
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Winnie the Pooh, and Stitch's great escape are cute, The Astro Orbiter if fun as well.
Not sure if you will have the time, but Toontown and the Railroad are also fun.
Wishes is also a great fireworks show. I think it is probably one of my favorite shows Disney has ever done. Spectromagic is also great.
I'm not sure when you are going, so I don't know what all will be open and will be showing. Just be sure to use Fastpass to try and get as much in as you can.

Make sure you visit Cinderella Castle! It is a symbol of magic all around the world. For the rides, don't miss Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. For shows, I'm not sure what you would like to see during the day because they have a variety of shows, but I know the two night shows you have to see are Wishes Nighttime Spectacular (Fireworks) and Spectromagic (Parade filled with over half-a-million lights). It's a small world, and Pirates of the Caribbean, Actually everything is worth seeing.
If you have to skip something, skip the hall of presidents and the ride where Walt Disney takes you through history. It was built for a world's fair in the 50's or 60's and is really dated. I just thought it was weird.

Buzz Lightyear's ride is fun too.

It's a Small World (cheesy, but you have to do it once in your life)

Everything!!! You can't miss the three mountains (Space, Splash, and Big Thunder) and everything in fantasyland are classic
