As far as I know, a country can not win a F1 Grand Prix, maybe an Irish pilot or something like this. Does anybody know an Irish pilot competing in 1961 F1 season? I was born in 1988 so no chance to know somebody from 1961, unless I lived another life...but I don't remember :P

That has to be a trick question. In F1, countries do not compete, it is only individuals and car manufacturers (private and factory). It is the A1 league where countries compete but this is a relatively new class of racing so not around in 1981. The cars look somewhat similar to F1 though...

It can't have been a motor race. Countries don't enter teams.
Innes Ireland won the USA GP in 1961. That's the nearest I can get.

John Watson won the British GP at Silverstone for McLaren. He is from Belfast. It was the first ever victory in a carbon composite chassis!

hi Sasha it might properly be a actual power issue. The drivers in F1 conflict through some extreme G-forces, exceptionally on their necks i have seen some female race drivers in dissimilar different sequence. None have done exceptionally properly. ot particular why, perhaps their too secure
