Yes, I've been here for four days and yes. As the song goes "I'm neither left nor right", and I'm quite thankful I'm not. I don't yet understand how someone can be "all left" or "all right" on every single issue. And to the point where you have bash the other side, again, again and again?
What is a shame is that it is my firm belief that most people can find common ground with most other people in one given society, particularly in a country built on compromises like America. All they have to do is talk openly, rationally, calmly and respectfully. True die-hard left and right wingers are far fewer than either side thinks or than the media often portrays.

Actually, I enjoy a lively debate. What I am bored with are the ones on here who know nothing, spout obscenities, ask stupid questions about Hitler. They are obviously very young or immature and have nothing intelligent to say.
I am thinking about dropping off the board and look for a website with thinking people who enjoy the exchange of ideas even if they don't agree.

I have really slowed down the number of visits to this forum because both sides are arrogant and radical. The bashers need their own forum.
