The USA, as one of the 5 nations with veto power in the UN and the world's only superpower, should be involved in the negotiations... meaning have a voice; BUT, the USA has no authority to dictate or force any Middle Eastern country to negotiate.

None since there is NO diplomatic solution. Arabs want Israel destroyed, Israel wants to live. No room for compromise. We should just stand back & offer to hold Israel's coat. He have the same enemies.
