If you could choose 3 super powers what would they be? And why?

I'd have invisibility, telepathy and telekenesis. I think that with those three I could deal with pretty much any situation that comes my way in everyday life. I wouldn't feel the need to go on a crusade for justice and the power of good though, I'd just go on a quest for the easy life.. Like sneaking up on the bank manager and making him believe in his mind that my debts could be wrote off. And letting staff know if I wanted fries with that, before they'd asked. Just little things like that to make my life easier.

What would you do?

Invisibility, to fly, and to read minds....as long as I know how to control the reading minds thing.

I mean think about it, if you're invisible, you can find out so much about a lot of things, and invisibility can save your life many times on so many different kinds of situations.

To fly would be great...not to mention fun. You don't have to waste money on gas for you car. You can just fly to the place you want to go....unless you're moving and you have a lot of furniture.

And to read minds....you would know who is being honest with you, who is a fake friend, who is manipulating you, what people actually think of you, and your life would be so much easier.

Edit: to Danny (the guy above me)....think about it though. If you could go back in time and change the things you regret doing, would you be yourself today?

Edit #2: wait, I read someone's answer and they said telekinesis because it includes flight since you can move yourself. So Yeah, I change my ability to fly to telekinesis, since not only I could move myself, but everything else.

I think there's a reason why we don't have it then! Do you think it will make the world a better place? I might say I want to hear people's mind, but I think this is self-destructive and I might hit rock-bottom.Imagine the difference : living a happy life in ignorance to prejudice, on the other hand your super power giving u paranoia as u hear the shittiest things about you.
2ndly, I might choose telepathy, controlling your fate and other people's actions. But once you have that, who says u might put it to evil use? I think this can seriously tip the balance of nature. Things happen for a reason, and if we could changed many things good or bad, maybe the world would have been worst off?
3rdly, I would enjoy being Flash! Finnishing any job in seconds, getting to another country in a flash-but do u think life will be worth it. U will get bored. There is a reason while life ain't like that. Taking time to do stuff, keeps u out of boredom, and if u have the ability to be in another place in flash, u miss out on interacting with the world. Enjoying the scenery change on the train ride, admiring the girl in the front row etc..

telekenesis (which i say includes flight because all you do is move your self) , telepathy , and invisibility.
i chose telekenesis because im used to getting harassed by someone every day, and with that, if anyone even fakes messing with me, theyre on the roof. and i'll even jam their mouth shut to keep them quiet.
i chose telepathy because so i can know what eveyone honestly thinks about me so i dont waste my time and breath trying to get some honest answers out of them or trying to get to know someone who doesnt feel the same way about me and wont tell me to my face.
i chose invisibility because with invisibility and telekenesis i would just fly off and have me some freedom and peace in my life for a few hours and come back to warp everyones mind to think i was just hiding in my room the whole time doing what i usually do in my room, play on the internet and annoy some idiots.
with those powers i could probably take over the world. but who would want to take over the world when all the other people would find out who you are, and everyone else who doesnt like you would try to wipe out your family and everything... that just wouldnt be worth the time... and i wouldnt pick immortality because i have to watch my family die off, and eventually the world

My first super power would be the ability to see when a person is lying. I would use this power to help catch criminals, find out when politicians are being deceptive, and help people find out if their spouses/SO's are deceiving them.

My second would be the power to make politicians do the right thing: to allocate money for things like programs to help indigent children and the elderly, and to stop spending money on stupid boondoggles like subsidizing tobacco. And to stop this stupid party partisanship: we elect our officials to do the right thing, not behave like a bunch of schoolchildren who divide up into sides and point and scream at each other "You're a Democrat! You've got cooties!" "No, you're a Republican, you're the one with cooties!"

And the third and most important superpower: I would earn the gratitude of all humanity by having the power to banish the calories in anything made with CHOCOLATE! You could eat all you want of it and it would have no calories! Yes, this truly would be a superpower that would rank me as the greatest superhero of all time! ;-))

*sigh*....if only.

It's got to be the time thing. I don't want to freeze it, anything I want to freeze is already in my freezer thanks. but if I could slow it down... to just...one...little...tiny....trickle. That would be just fine. If I could live on a timeline, so i'd be able to choose various options in the future...what to go with what not to go with, what to say to get such a reaction, test out my jokes so they don't fall flat, see what people are doing behind my back. That would be enough omnipotence for me.

I'd also want it so I could enjoy my favourite things and speed through life's drudgery.

I'd love to have telepathy, but i probably wouldn't live a sane life if I had it. I'd just spent it all in other people's heads, observing!

I would have x-ray vision and get a job at the airport spotting drug smugglers and terrorists.

Inpenetrable skin - so I couldn't be stabbed/shot/blown up etc by a nutter while I'm on duty

shape shifting (like that blue villain in x-men who can change into anybody she wants) because that would be helluva lot of fun messing with peoples minds on my days off.

I'd have transportation - the ability to be anywhere in the blink of an eye.

I'd have invulnerability - I'd be able to stand on Venus or Mars without suffering any ill-effects, and combined with the above ability, I'd be able to discover planets in different solar systems.

Finally, I'd have polygloterism - the ability to be able to communicate with anyone, anywhere, instantly. Even with the animals and any aliens I might meet because of the previous two abilities.

TeleKensis Would be my first choce as well. and if you had'nt already choosen in for a power I would have probilly also wanted telepathy.

SO I am going to go TeleKensis (which I imagine includes flying)
SuperHealing grow back limbs etc even my head.
and Immortality Because in would kind of suck having all this power then getting old.

From i was small,seeing all what had been happening to our mother Earth,not blaming our Lord ,but somehow the people are just too over powered by them genious inventions and i want to put back the world when we can enjoy everything ...nature and simplicity of life...inventing how to grow food for all mankind to avoid sturvasions and famine,not to invent weapons to kill and most of all guide them super power countries to help and unite.
