Why do conservatives say that liberals abuse narcotics?

abuse means that the person must have some standard, and with drugs, liberals have no standards

I think alot of conservatives could do themselves some good by taking some drugs. Maybe some LSD and experience a different outlook on life for once. The sober mind is very overrated

Sneaky! Yes, liberals have standards regarding drugs, and believe those standards would be best followed with legalization, which would then allow a certain amount of order, taxation, record keeping that does not currently exist. Those people who say "No legalized drugs, no no no!" are using blanket-logic, which doesn't imply standards.

Clearly, some conservatives say that liberals are druggies because many liberals are more likely to approve of legalized marijuana (certainly for medical purposes). Some people see marijuana as a gateway drug to narcotics, and therefore they catastrophize the idea and get "abuse narcotics."

Yes - I answered the question " do you think Obama is an elitist" with the answer "vote Obama" and it got deleted for not being a question or answer. The definition of answer is a response to a question, it does not say it has to be the correct answer. I feel your pain; I don't know who is reviewing these reports but I feel they need some further instruction. The average person would understand that that response meant I did not think he was an elitist, unless I thought it was good to be an elitist, anyway that was a response to a question therefore it was an answer just like you asked a question. I've seen people answer questions with responses like - 2 pts., huh, wow, and etc. are these answers? I also see several people offer 10 points to the best answer and that is what you get if your answer is selected so how could a reminder be wrong? by the way...Vote Obama

I am a liberal, and I don't do drugs or drink. In fact, I don't even drink coffee. Most of my immediate family is the same way, and they're all extremely liberal. You're not impressing anyone with your sweeping generalizations.

I ceratinly don't see any liberals "bragging" about their past drug use. Yes, Obama admitted to using drugs in college, but said that he now felt it was a mistake, and wanted to be an example of how someone can turn their life around when they stop doing drugs. I think that's preferable to all the conservatives who lie about drug use. And by the way, your beloved president was a known coke fiend in college. I have one friend who went to school with him and has fond memories of watching him do blow off of urinals.

Republicans have such high moral standards on all other issues of course. Anyway being liberal means that you have enough respect for your fellow humans that you respect their ability to make decisions. Instead of being a mindless fool who needs to be told what to think, feel and believe.
