If you have to ask that question, you might as well put the book down right now. Every book that is fiction or non-fiction is written so that the ending has a meaning. It may be different for different people but that is why each book is unique to the individual. If you have to ask you must be a very impatient person. If you read to enjoy, then you don't have to ask. Instead, ENJOY!

Well, yes and no. That series is pretty standalone in that you can get the gist of the story from one book alone. This, however, will not give you the whole entire story behind Odd Thomas if you really want to know more about him. If you were to go back and read the previous books, you'll understand the hints or details mentioned in Forever Odd, but you can still enjoy Forever Odd without the other two. If you really do plan on reading the whole series, go rent the first two from the library.

I read it and although I think you should finish reading it, I have to say I wasn't thrilled with it. My favorite book of his was "The Watchers".
