My workplace is having an event soon where we need to look "dressed up" and I want to look classy, but not boring. I work at an Art School. Any suggestions?

buy a nice dress, nothing too long, something classy but not to formal. you can also wear a skirt with a nice top.
If you would like just buy nice dress pants from ross or fashion q or xi, and a nice top that buttons up.
also it depends on what kind of "event it is"
if its a party, wear anything thats classy, but sexy at the same time
if its like a party but with supervisors there, wear dress pants and a nice top

It depends on the event, its better to over dress, but in layers so you can remove as much as needed. If you work in a creative place, wear lots of color, if its a conservative place, especially if you aren't high up on the food chain, dress with less color.

i got a really cute dress at kohls the other day they had this dress that was 68 dollars i got it for ten it was black polka dotted red and white it was sooooo cute go to kohls they have a ton of dressy uppy stuff go before the sale ends
