will there be a draft as well?

The US doesn't wage war as a whole. The President of the United States, who tries to represent the US, wages war. This distinction is more important now than ever because Bush is an unpopular president he doesn't accurately represent the US. The Bush administration may decide to wage war with Iran. They've been wanting to do so for years now and while they say they're not looking for a pretext for war with Iran they've been looking for any good reason in the first place. Honestly I don't trust the findings anyways. The Bush has been a host of lies and "bad information." There were no WMDs in Iraq and there were no ties to Al'qaeda.

Yes, eventually. The fact that the military is having a hard time hitting their quotas for recruits. they have already lowered their standards for recruits (they give waivers to felons now). If we do get into a MAJOR war, we will have no choice but to bring back the draft. I hope im wrong about the war and the draft.

We should not fight Iran by ourselves, this would be a mistake.

I do not believe that. Iran is too big of a superpower to challenge the USA without a chain linked reaction. The world would start tumblind like dominos and Iran understands that.

Yes, we will eventually. Unless there is another revolution to overthrow the current Iranian government like there was in the late 70s-early 80s. But I don't think that will happen. We should strike them now while we have the upper hand. If we wait to have a war after they have completed their nuke program, it will be much worse.

Isn't this a political question?

Well, the current administration really wants to go to Iran even before they went Iraq. But if the majority Congress prevails, then their hopes will be dashed.

i do not think so, not that i am against it, i draw that conclusion from sources outside of the mainstream drive by media. the world is not the same as with Iraq, the circumstances are not the same. i personally think that the Isrealis might do something to their sworn enemy like they did in the 60's.

unfortunately, i don't think there is any other recourse. iran have been a trouble spot for the united states dating back to the presidency of nixon/ford. as a country they are unrelenting in their hatred for americans.
