i use sharebuilder.com like some of the others have said. it offers low priced trades and is good for people starting out who aren't as knowledgeable or experienced at stock trading. just remember that profits are not guaranteed with any stock trading.

Scottrade is easy and convienent with $7 trades.
Also, they just added some really awesome research tools that would cost a ton if you wanted to purchase them by yourself.
