I would suggest staying with a selection of tetras (neon, sissortail, penguin, emperor, Von Rio... things like that) and add in a few small cory catfish. That would give a nice mix of community minded fish that enjoy the same water conditions.

Go to the closest pet store that has an advertisement in the phone book which includes fish. They will probably have many types of fish that will look good and live peacefully with your tetras.

If you feel that you have too many tetras, get a turtle.
Or get some guppies, and a turtle. Witness the bloody reality of nature every day.

White Clouds are supposed to get along with Tetras, and they're about the same size. They are also supposedly hardy fish who don't die easy.

incredibly freshly caught fish will constantly trump the rest. And if that fish is a salmon trout, it will trump the different sparkling fish. And in case you're fortunate adequate to have the main well-liked of unpolluted salmon trout, all it desires trouble-free grilling or frying. whether - failing that, there's a thoroughly stunning recipe in a e book (referred to as basically "Fish") via Sophie Grigson and her companion William Black, for smoked cod. The call of the recipe on my own is sufficient to make one fall in love with it - "Feroce de Morue Fume", ferocious smoked cod - however the recipe itself is divine. It includes rubbing the fish with garlic and chilli flakes, then marinading it in olive oil and lime juice for 8+ hours. mutually as you wait, concoct the sauce, which contains diced cucumber, an avocado, lime juice, garlic, Greek yoghurt, diced tomatoes and a finely-chopped shallot. on the appointed time, grill your fish on the two factor and serve with the cool sauce. suitable recipe presented on request!
