Actually the biggest snobs are Liberals, because they are hypocrites as well. Liberals love the homeless, but if they knock on their door for work, they call the police. If you smoke a cigar, they will make a face and try to get you kicked out of the park. They love to have an illegal do their yard for $2 an hour, but want the average American to pay for their schooling, medical care, ect.
So, as you can see, Liberals are the biggest snobs.

You just feel that way because you are a democrat and want to stir things up. The reason you think they are snobs is simply because their intellect is far superior to the average democrat, and you perhaps know that to be true. Plus the fact they are honest and do not live a lie like you

I've definitely seen snobs from both camps :-)
That said, you may have *perceived* snobbery b/c the Republican stance lately has been more classicist (the assumed good of the society outweighs the good of the individual) while the Democratic stance has been its opposite (the good of the individual outweighs the assumed good of the society). One who doesn't share classicist views could easily see that as snobbery toward said individuals.

I'm a Democrat, but I have to admit that I've encountered some Democratic snobs, as well. I guess it goes both ways.

Good question. I've noticed that the republicans are excellent at name calling, and being narrow minded. It blows my mind how many of them aren't ashamed to admit their ignorance.
